Don't ever say "Have you tried...?" to someone who has just revealed their struggle with infertility to you. Ever. Just. Don't. Do. It. I promise, if they haven't tried it, they have a good reason. If you really must offer your "expertise", the only slightly helpful way to do so is to say, "I'm sorry you're struggling. Let me know if there's anything I can help you research since I'm [insert professional understanding here]. But no matter what, I'll be praying for you!"
